Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HEJU mobile application (the "App") and the website heju.pro (together, the "Services"), provided by HEJU Labs LLC ("HEJU", "we", "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you where you use the Services.
2. Non-custodial software
HEJU is self-custody software. You alone control your private keys and recovery phrase. We never hold your keys or your assets and cannot initiate, cancel, reverse or recover any transaction. HEJU is not a bank, exchange, broker, money transmitter or financial institution.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your recovery phrase secret and backed up securely. Anyone who has it can take your assets.
- Verify every transaction (address, amount, network and fees) before signing.
- Keep your device and the App updated and secured.
Loss of your recovery phrase may result in permanent loss of your assets. We cannot help you recover it.
4. Blockchain risks
Digital assets are volatile and carry significant risk. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Networks may experience congestion, forks, bugs or attacks. Third-party smart contracts and decentralized applications you choose to interact with are outside our control. You use them at your own risk.
5. No advice
Nothing in the Services is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Prices and data shown in the App are for information only and may be delayed or inaccurate.
6. Fees
The App is currently free to use. Network (gas) fees are paid to blockchain validators, not to us. If we introduce optional paid features, fees will be clearly shown before you confirm.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions evasion, and not to interfere with or reverse-engineer the Services except as permitted by law.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, design and trademarks, are owned by HEJU Labs LLC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HEJU WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DIGITAL ASSETS, PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
11. Changes and termination
We may modify these Terms or the Services at any time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time by deleting the App.
